Evaluation Process: 3 Easy Steps
1. Call for initial phone consultation
You may have initial questions and concerns regarding your child’s speech, language or feeding skills that can be answered via an initial phone interview. A brief history of your child’s difficulties will be discussed and we will help guide you in the best direction for your child.
2. Schedule an evaluation
Evaluations are typically conducted in the morning and take from 1-4 hours to complete, depending on your child’s needs.
3. Complete paperwork
As part of a comprehensive assessment, we ask that you fill out the case history form and return it to the office at least 5 days prior to your appointment to ensure consultation with the appropriate team of professionals (pediatricians, gastrointerologits, neurologists, teachers, social workers, etc.). Evaluations include a formal written report, recommendations and design of a treatment plan if warranted.
